Introduction:

The Center for Civil Society and Democracy (CCSD) is an independent, non-profit Syrian non-governmental organization whose mission is to support and strengthen civil society and democracy, and to promote the values ​​of freedom, justice and coexistence. As part of this goal, CCSD facilitated an advocacy mission to the cities of The Hague and Brussels on 26 November and 1 December 2018 with its main partners, namely (The Syrian Civil Platform, Aman Network, and the I Am Network) and the mission delegation included representatives of civil society organizations and women leaders who they come from diverse backgrounds and regions in Syria, and have extensive experience in peacebuilding, as well as in the fields of human rights, women’s rights, and democratic activism.
